  • I awoke in the middle of the night with this tune in my hE-head. I rushed to my computer and here I am listening to this brilliant Suid Afrikaanse lied - sweet!!!

Now I feel so much better!!!

  • Brilliant song by a top South African group. We used to "rock' to this song in the 60's right here in Port Elizabeth......life was very good !

  • We covered this one in the Zodiacs in P.E. back in the sixties. I'm a 63 year old coloured 'toppie' and South Africa was great when I grew up in the 40's 50's and 60's. Joined the navy in '71 and it was still great. Great music then. Everything worked! loved travelling by train all over the country. God, it was safe in those days. inspite of what everyone says, SA rocked. Now corruption is the order of the day, especially to the black elite. This is not hate speech. It's the Truth!

  • Me too. Richard died a few years ago. I lived down the road from him in Greenside East Johannesburg. RIP

  • The man on the left is Richard Crouse (RIP) a darling man and a dear friend

  • @Sherin...I agree,I've got all three double CD's... absolutely worth every cent...about R50.00 ea...

  • You can get it and other great SA hits on The Best of SA Pop Volume 3 Disc 1. All three volumes are worth buying.

  • An excellent SA Golden Oldie! Does anyone know if it is available on CD?

  • Very good song, and one that I'm hearing for the first time.

Most of the Staccatos hits around here are by the '60s Canadian band (a long-time favourite).

  • Guy on the far left looks like a young Steve Coogan
