My friend's deciding wether or not to buy a PowerBook. He's on a tight budget because his old PC is pretty old and he doesn't care for "the newest" technology, as long as it runs ok. He's interested in the PowerBook G4 1.67 17" (top of the line model) and he found some for around $350-399 price range. I also looked on eBay and found a 15" Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHZ MacBook Pro (Intel) for $450.00. He's not sure which to get - 17" G4 or 15" Intel. Thanks guys. I will tell him your replies!

@lorenzo6320 its working good, it is running os 10.4.11, it can't run snow leopard & if I install leopard it will most likely run very slowly

Uhm is it Aluminium? And can I change the hardrive and the ram for a better 1?

@sahab999 Yes, this is the aluminium model powerbook & you can easily access the ram, but the hard drive is a bit harder to access...
