My need to chart this song was like an itch that wouldn't go away until I was done. And I'm glad I itched, because I had a helluva lot of fun charting and playing this fast-paced, energetic, happy-go-lucky piece. K-On Banzai!!

--== Chart Development ==--

I really enjoyed charting this song. It took me about 4 hours to chart it from beginning to end (with hours and hours of polish afterwards). I don't know why I had so much fun charting this. Due to its enormous popularity, tabs were more readily available for this song too, so I used them as reference, as well as several fan covers just so I can figure out what other peoples' opinions were. In the end I decided to do a mix of by-ear and by-reference notes. The guitars were pretty easy to isolate in this song, so it was pretty easy to put together properly. There are still some parts I know for absolute sure need fixing, but I'll get around to them eventually.

This is the first time I've actually let anyone else lay a hand in the development of my charts. My new chart editor (and also the one who made the standard and branding for all my videos) is "Coco", her nickname. At her request, I won't go into more detail than that, but if you know her, then yay! She went in and nitpicked about a few mistakes I've made, some of which I have yet to fix. I'll point them out in the annotations.

She's also edited all of my videos for me. And designed the logos. And encoded them. And did the cool zoomy album art thing at the beginning of each video. Among other things.

God, I really have no idea what motivated me to chart this. I really don't. I just decided after like episode 9 or so of K-On that I wanted to chart it. This is my 13th ever Guitar Hero chart, and I did it over the summer during the GHA revamp of my series of charts.

--== Difficulty ==--

Pretty tough. Not nastily impossible, but there are some parts that are just mean.

is not too hard I can do it too, u just did a mistake on 0:25 in that part u have to slide ur fingers and press all the buttoms practise it

@wutdaFU3K Funny thing about that is that Yui's playing a real guitar, and this is a toy guitar. You know, a squeaky plastic toy guitar. Oh, but that's right, you must be one of those guys who thinks toy skill reflects on real skill. And while we're on the subject, you DO realize that Yui is a fictional character, right? Whose guitar playing isn't hers but rather is actually that of a real, professional musician who gets PAID to record his talents for the show? Just some food for thought.
