EXs have to be unlocked, either through the extra stage or by unlocking the rest of the game.

were u playing enjoy mode or free mode cuz i hear to get extra stage enjoy mode must be played but it seems that enjoy mode isnt like the AC style of pop'n do u know?

I was playing Free mode when I made this video, but you will need to play Challenge mode if you want to get the extra stage. (Enjoy mode won't let you get the extra stage and only has a limited selection of songs and just sucks in general, it's meant for beginners only)

To get the Extra stage you need to meet some requirements! Go to challenge and play to earn points. There are certain numbers that will grant you acess to the EX Stage. Once you play a song on EX stage you can play it on EX as you please. Also, you DO NOT have to pass the song on EX to unlock it to play freely. You just need to get the right points. Remember the more points you get the more likely you are to get EX stage and not an picture!
