That's right. Microsoft's advertising appeals to the part of your brain that weighs up pros and cons and makes an intelligent decision about what to buy. Apple's advertising appeals to the part of your brainn that says "ooh! A cool picture!"

wow now that i think about it..... Apple doesnt really have anything on the packaging.... for instance.... i am looking at my iPod touch case.... like 4 words on the whole thing lol, and a zune case has like a million little stupid details on it......

Only because you saw one on TV, rather than using any thought or doing product-comparison. Then again, Apple /is/ known for lowering the intelligence-required bar to fry-cook levels.. why they cost more.
