@SpeedyC362 I'm going to guess you don't ride. I don't know much about car drifting but the point of drifting on a motorcycle ism like u said, not to go around the corner faster. However when you drift around a corner you set up the motorcycle to be in an upright position sooner than if you did not drift. When your are upright sooner you can hammer the gas sooner, which is FASTER

@MrVoss94: much like in a car, sliding is NOT the fastest way around the track. sure it looks cool and is fun as hell, but one you break the tyre's limit, you are gripping less, and hence going slower, than if you kept within the limits of the tyres. the fastest you can go is at 99.999% of your tyres limits, but as soon as you break 100% and slide, you are losing time.... but gaining major fun and style points :)
