Graffiti Book / Magazine Showcase (Part 1 of 2)

sort of a quick review of what books and magazines I have...
I forgot to include the book Calligraffiti which is also amazing for anyone into calligraphy and graffiti!

My favs have to be the Banksy book for its interesting writing and the El Mac / Retna book for awesome artwork (at an awesome price)

Most of the books / magazines I talk about are well worth it, except maybe the two big Graffiti World ones.

hwy dud thw banksy think btw its not cuz he was crap at graff his graff stuff it preaty ok its cuz he used to take so long doin graff wen he was in his crew n 1 nitght wen thay were out thaty had 2 run from the cops cuz he was takin so long thay got caught so wen he did he was layin under a truck 2 hide from the police n he saw a vin plate was stenciled n thats how he got the idae 2 use stencils in his work hope that helps man hit me up peeaaace

I'm gonna' go out an buy most of these books now :D Some interesting stuff. You may want to check out; Playful Types: Ephemeral lettering & illustrative fonts (Interesting fonts, variety of methods and also shows different cultures work), Stereo Graphics: Graphics in new dimensions (Again very interesting and quite innovative designs aswell as providing some inspiration, Animation Art: by Jerry Beck (It shows how cartoons have come to be what theyy are and the history, I recommend it.)

but i was at king supers and there was a skateboard mag and it had a huge graffiti articule

@FormulaTwentySix well dude im from the uk went 2 his show n ive got all his books n his movie n lots of stuff about him thats how i no n i did a whole project on him wen i was at collage doing fine arts thats how i no btw is that all ur books n mags u av in ur collecton or do u av more as i av like 20 books n bout 40 to 50 mags hehe btw love wat ur doin man masssssive amounts of respct for u as i had a a verrry close friend how had cancer n passed away man so keep up wat u do peeeaaace
