26th of December, Baynes channel in Victoria BC Canada, Michael Pardy and I went for a little paddle, thinking nothing of it.
Ended up being big, super steep, and after a few pass at it it was even too much, some of the waves just to the right of us in this video looked like trains, coming down and covering the Lighthouse, just an amazing display of power due to some big swells, against lots of current, and more and more winds as time went by.
The way out, the back door, that we had never used before, was itself exploding with 4 or 5 footers, and paddling in between the rocks was quite a rush, more footage for more videos where do you stop?
This video, just trying to put you in our shoes, so to speak, to show the steepness of the waves (Michael punches right through a vertical wall of water), and the the exploding and speed power, of the next big wave and the first one, timing was everything!

When the camera catches this much going on I know for real it was much bigger. Looks like great fun.
