Lighting a sky lantern in heavy wind is not recomended. Very hard to light.

  • make sure a small boy cant be caught inside and then sell ure story to the press lol

  • That only happens when it's poorly designed...I make my own "candles" for the sky lanterns I build and sometimes if it's not attached well it can fall out - that's why I fly right after a rainfall. ;)

  • I'm afraid that the ignitor would fall out of the lantern and land on something and catch fire

  • It will work better in cold conditions.

  • Will it work in very cold conditions also (like -10F)?

  • Paper is fireproof, and will not catch on fire... saftey 1st!
