THEY CAN'T DO THIS. I loved TAS. But this is so much better. Its not in the same league with any other cartoon that i have seen. DISNEY, PLEASE bring it back Air a third season, a 4ft and 5ft and 6th. PLEASE.

it has been announced that they will release an Ultimate Spider-man cartoon in fall of 2011, i hope this isn't true.

Why restart when you have SSM?

I enjoyed SMAS too, I think they did a great job with the restrictions they had like no punching; the Goblin Wars and Series Finale still are fantastic. I love lots of the stories, but I think that TSSM has more freedom and better writers. While I really enjoyed SMAS's cast TSSM has them more well rounded (90s Harry and MJ weren't well developed, though I did love Flash and Debra Whitman). I love both series, but my main point is TSSM is a great series and should go on.

I am going to destroy everyone at Marvel if this show gets canceled. It got higher ratings than Wolverine and the X-Men, it got higher ratings that that 3D Iron Man cartoon, it even got higher ratings than TAS! Not only that but critics call it the best Spider-Man adaptation ever, the best Marvel show in the 21st century (some even call it the best Marvle show ever), and it is the first 21st century show that topped a 90s show (most fans say that). It also had extremely high ratings on Disney.

At the Planet Hulk premiere, Marvel Animation heads specifically said that NO decisions have been made either way.

None of the voice actor contracts have been cut short or even been altered.

New toys for SSM are at Burger King now. This is a sign.

So yeah, no worries.

TSSM should be renewed, it's the best Spidey adaptation. I love every character and all the stories are brilliant. I really think Disney would be stupid NOT to order new episodes, the sooner the better.

I just bought the Vulture figure recently. I'm with Hitler on this one...SSM needs to be renewed, it's really good. This is exactly how a Spider-Man cartoon SHOULD be done.
