I know why people are freaking out - it's because IT SUCKS BEING IN A CAGE! - that's why.
You can say a lot of things about Americans - one thing though, is that most Americans who choose to have pets are very, very good pet owners - this much is true about them. The care and affection Americans have for their pets is quite remarkable and praiseworthy.

I don't see why people are freaking out so much about the cage. I have known pet owners who don't keep their cats and dogs in cages but may if they're about to go to bed and haven't trained them not to get into things in the middle of the night. The fact that a camera was turned on for a measly 1:30 seconds of the cats' lives suddenly adds up to torture or something. Honestly, it's not like they're going to be embarrassed that they were posted on the net or anything. They're adorable.
