    Well, imagine Billy Joe playing his guitar singing this, without the strings, the drums and all the other 'Nashvilled'' instrumentation. And the song 'ends' at 'Forever Now' . . That's the way I like it . . The Real Deal without the fluff.

    Im gonna live forever. Your gonna miss me when im gone. Ill cross that river today. Mr. Shaver wrote the theme to most of our lives here and many do not even know it. He makes our home the Great State of TEXAS very proud. Hellava man. God bless

    I'm 52. It's been to easy for MY generation to divorce...may YOUR generation bring back a much needed and God orientated stability towards not just marraige but sex, drugs and rock and role. If I knew @ 14 what I knew now my world would be very different. YOUR generation uses abortion as birth control..mine didnt. PLEASE change at least that one thing. Make sure you are "in love" with who you marry as there is a BIG difference between love and being "IN LOVE" May God bless YOUR generation. :)

    Great guy, I met Billy Joe at a small club in Orlando, Fla, in the '90's...he sat at my table, I brought him a drink & we talked for about 20 min., great guy!!

    Does it make you feel better if I said I'm in my mid 30's and that I like wubs? :? But yes, I agree most modern music (IE, Beiber, Black, etc...) is garbage.

    I love this song. One of my favorites. I never knew anything about this song until about 2 weeks ago,. My grandpa passed away on March 10th, 2013. & he loved Billy Joe Shaver. He has met him, and my daddy has actually opened up for him in concert a few times. Anyways, this song "Live forever"
