@animelover462 -- Yeah, and that woman in Connecticut raised a chimpanzee in her home as a pet for many years. Then it bit her friend's face off. Wild animals might "make good pets" as you say for a little while, but it only takes one small thing for them to revert to wild and do harm to a human. That normally then gets the animal killed, when in the wild at least it would have had a chance to live a normal life and prolong the species. People who keep wild pets in their homes are selfish.

Servals are amazing animals you are right, this is why we believe they deserve so much better than living in a house. An elephant COULD live in an house, does this make it right and OK to do so??? Servals are WILD and should be kept that way, the ignorant people in this world seem to believe otherwise :)

you know, they even look different when they sit, it may look domestic at first when you just look, but there are tell tale signs if you know how to see them, just like with all other wild cats, if you know what to look for you can tell if its wild or not

Oh wow all these small species of cats are very beautiful. It's pretty disappointing to hear how endangered they are. Is there anyway we can help contribute to keeping these cats from going extinct?

That is so sad! I wish I could do something to help! (to all the wild cats, not just geoffory's cats)

Nature never ceases to amaze us! Too bad we have been so disrespectful towards it.

animal abusers and selfish owners of wild animals will have their souls burned and suffering in hell for eternity.

@TheFelixxRevolution Are you stupid? it's called DOMESTICATION and the process takes HUNDREDS of years. Real PETS are animals that have been DOMESTICATED TO LIVE WITH HUMANS for HUNDREDS OF YEARS. That's completely different from a wild animal.

@emolover123ify Yes, but it takes a lot of work and shouldn't be attempted lightly.
can u raise them mas pets?
emolover123ify 10 months ago
@emolover123ify No, all wild cats species make terrible "pets" many of our rescues are former "pets" no matter what you do these animals will always have their wild instincts.

wild cats aren't good pets, but for some reason, when i searched "serval" on youtube, it showed me many pet servals, can anyone please explain that?
Boredology 10 months ago
@Boredology Yes, despite the obvious fact that wild cat species never make good "pets", ignorant, selfish people still feel the need to own cats like servals. They train and "discipline" these cats from a young age and the servals tolerate them or are scared of them. This results in wild cats living in backyards and homes, many cats are abandoned once people realize the mistake they have made or lose interest in the cats, either way the animals are the ones that suffer :(

@BigCatRescue Why are you lying? You're just outright lying. You're supposed to be a benign organization, not preying on people's sympathy! Have you even considered how feeding people lies like this results in the distress and death of the animals you're supposedly protecting?
Owners raised, loved, and cared for them from cradle to grave. Think about that when you push for anti-exotic legislation. You don't care about the collateral damage as long as you win. You're a disgrace.

@FascistFemale We're not praying on people's sympathy we simply want to end the abuse these animals suffer from and in order to do this, banning the private ownership of these animals is what needs to happen. We need to draw the line somewhere when people are losing their lives to these "pets" every year and these "pets" are wild animals that deserve so much better.
