  • Very inaccurate scene. Lee did have a meeting with Blair but this was one of several meetings, including one with Winfield Scott. He never decided this quickly to resign his commission. He agonized over this. Although his commitment to Virginia as portrayed here is correct. Still, this movie sucks for getting just about everything wrong.

  • @Turnback True, the movie has many historical inaccuracies... but this is a nice scene anyway.
