One thing I'll admit, the Veyron and any porsche is a beautiful and kickass vehicle. And the Reventon has a pretty neat panel. Otherwise, euro cars<muscle cars.
@TheWierdFish *Face Palm* Sled-as in snowmobile-ya idiot. And no, V12s are just a solid drone when redlined because the amount of cylinders makes it smooth and the individual notes cancelled out by the next exhaust stroked piston. I'd take the "thump, thump, rooOOAR" of my V8 over a droning 12 any day, punk.-.-
@the934x4 Last time I checked, sledges don't have engines...... If you've actually heard a proper V12 at full chat, you wouldn't say that. A red-lining V12 is a full orchestral tribute to all that's good and made of metal, the simple act of 12 pistons, making one power stroke, every other revolution, 7 or 8 thousand times per minute, is joy in engine form. Try being so poetic about V8s, yeha, punk.
@TheWierdFish It was I70 outside Salina, KS. I remember hearing what I believed to be a Civic or the like coming up behind me. Well, it was a fire red Ferrari, we pulled beside eachother at 70, I dropped into third and from then on out all I heard was 528 CIs of raw hp hitting the 6500 rpm redline up to 190, by which time the Ferrari was about 16 car lengths behind.
The V12s in your cars sound like sled motors not car motors. In essence, they sound like shit. I raced what I think was a late 80s testarossa about a year ago just before I put the Charger back in the shop for some new goodies
@v8cool1 The sound is a direct result of the cylinder count/ revolutions. More revs, less cylinders = roughly the same noise. If a 4 cly bike revs to 12,000, it's the same as a V12 at 4000, which is where you'll hear V12s mostly. It's supposed to sound crazy and it does. Just like a Lambo is crazy. Most Ferraris, 308s, 360s, 430s, 458s are in fact V8s They don't sound like hondas, hondas are modified to sound like Ferraris.
@TheWierdFish You could say the same about a euro super car. V12, looks sporty, sounds too high pitched, more like a sportsbike. Not the sound you'd expect from 12 cylinders. I remember a ferrari accelerating after doing a u-turn on our road. My wife said it sounded like a boyracer Honda

@TheWierdFish yes, it slipped my mind

@v8cool1 Oh I'm open minded all right, I see through the branding to the soul of a car, if it even has one, and make my judgements on that.
