Well after all, Jesus is the creator of the universe. I can't think of anyone more qualified. Before you start telling me how there's no such thing as Jesus and that I should think outside the Bible, I am a student and teacher of Bible prophecy and know things that would make your chin hit the floor. I was a pot smoker and did 6 years in prison. I've seen both sides and can assure you that Christians are definitely on to something here. Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven. Chow.

If they get more money from legalised pot the states will just piss it away. When I run low on cash I adjust my spending. The Govt cant control its own finances. Do we really want them running health care?

Part of the debate means hearing the other side.. this is tough because if someone told me I couldn't drink alchohol, I'd want a good reason, even better than saying its bad for me. The reason I don't drink is a personal choice, about family, and community.
The way to keep people off drugs is community, family and the individuals choice, throwing people in jail doesn't work.
The real gateway is the criminals who sell it, they have harder drugs, you shouldn't need to hang with them to get it.

If these banks were in cahoots with the government, getting hundreds of billons if not trillions from the tax payers would be a damn good motive to lie. And like everything the government spends money on, they get something back.
All this money, gone, with no accountability?
And their still in trouble? What happened to posted profits of last month?

Most people have Credit cards, probably somewhere around 200 million paying 3% percent of everything they buy, 5-34% interest on everything not paid off, and huge charges for those that are late or overdrawn or whatever.

What they are not telling you about new jobs is that they are mostly low paying or part time jobs. The majority of people are having to accept lower pay. Too, we all know that commercial property is next to fall not counting all of us home owners under water. How can these idiots say that things are getting better. All we can call that is Fasism because the only ones doing better are the rich which is the intent.

I live in a house in sacramento built in the 50"s. It cost around $5000 to build. The owner my landlord lives with us, she paid $290,000 six years ago. 1200 sq. ft. This is reason we have such a financial problem, this is ridiculous. Property isnt this valuable. It was inflated hugely and wrongly. Minimum wage hasnt even come close to keeping up with inflation. They have been killing middle class america for some time now and now we see the result. Imagine that!

I think the economy is on the mend, but even if I was wrong and it never improved, job losses would eventually level off. Just survival of the species guarantees a certain level of jobs needed. Pot! I think the recession would end overnight if legalized. However, I'd like to see it only ok for posession and for sale; but maybe a three strike deal for distribution to minors and no smoking in public. bottom line- I've never heard of anyone on weed act as crazy as I've seen drunks can be.

I don't understand the restaraunt increase in jobs either. Maybe people are spending less on retail and feel they "need" to "treat" themselves. The fundamentals have not changed. These people frequenting these establishments are using plastic to pay not savings. tic tic tic tic tic tic tic ....BOOM!

Restaurants are gearing up for the summer. When the weather is nice, more people want to leave their houses. And that means more people going to the restaurants.
Unfortunately, you need money to eat out, so most of these people will be relaxing at a park.
