As far as I know, Mr.Gendler has never been a professional singer. I think he used to be an engeneer, when Jewish songs could be performed only in underground. I am from Zaporojhe too, and I used to know this wonderful man IN PERSON! We worked in the only Jewish Gimnasium and he was most attractive man in all senses of the word- Clever, always friendly with everybody, perfect husband to his beloved wife Bella and loving father to his son. And his amazing singing!!! I love You, Arkadiy Hunovich

The song is performed in Russian. The style is Yiddish, for sure. Mr. Gendler is a Russian/Yiddish bilingual person. Why do you call us fools?
