The thing about this movie is that there are many valid arguments for white nationalism, but the arguments against it suck : "its bullshit" and "did it make your life better?". Derek started questioning his ideas when he saw another nazi dealing with Hispanics. The point of the movie was to criticize racism, but they failed at that because the only argument was that it creates problems. When you're a political activist you don't do it for fun or to be happier, hence the movie's argument is weak.

@slayer60491 Of course the arguments are valid. A valid argument can be logical and still be incorrect about the truth. A logical fallacy is not the same as a factual fallacy; you're like an ignorant kid that wandered into a conversation with adults. His political allegiance is irrelevant in identifying an argument, and your vague argument that he needs a moderate view (whatever that is) is flawed because you assume that his political stance is liberal,and that therefore makes his reasoning incorrect.
