Here is a Tektronix 2445 oscilloscope, with one (Δ DLY POS) of two readout cursors, problem. Although this particular cursor move full scale at left or down side, to the right or upwards side the cursor hangs at around 1 volt per division. The meter, however in the upper right hand, display the values normally.

  • Check c853 on the main board its just below the u800 amp. When it leaks it throws voltage off on the cursor. It a small square like cap .47 25 v there are 4 in a row.

  • @ralphb59 Thank You very much for your answer! I have resolve this in the past, and this is exact the problem. For your info, I have change all the .47 and .22 caps in the main board!

  • @ralphb59 followup on my post: I see now you said DLY POS thats the left knob, your cap is C854 the second in that line of 4
