GoddessofBarefeet: We are buying some grapes this afternoon to leave out for Pete.

eyestoC: Good information. This is the second night he came to visit. It's raining today, he may not come this evening. If that tail just had a little fur.....;-)

Don't pay any mind to the hissing or the excessive drooling or even the wide open mouth baring the teeth stuff. It's just a bluff. They are very timid and always go away if given the chance. I'm not saying "go stick your hand up close to a big male"but you could have safely slid a plate of food toward the one you just taped w/o any danger. They very rarely bite(only if cornered) and rabies in opossum is unheard of. Make a new friend, they are good to have around, and very cute,even the tail.!!
