After 8 years of teaching I've finally had enough of deteriorating pupil behaviour. On paper, there are the sanctions but they are rarely enforced. Poor management is a major factor. There needs to be a zero tolerance policy. I have a right to do my job without having to listen to foul language and abuse on a daily basis! I have been off work for 2 months now...and it is sheer bliss!

The same thing is happening in the United States. I'm pretty sure our governments are intentionally dumbing down the masses for obvious reasons.

The first school shown Intake High School Arts College is the one I use to go to. I remember getting a letter sent home because of this:') Its now called West Leeds Academy though. Its just kids being kids. Nobody ever messed about in the lessons with teachers they knew wouldn't let them get away with it. I'm not saying they're perfect angels either...

I went to one of the schools in this documentry for 5 years. So overrated. They don't show the good parts only the bad. But yes we was all little shits

The Behaviour Of Pupil;s Has Gone Down Hill Since They Removed Copral Punishment, When i was at School You Got on with your Work Because You Had Respect for the teachers, nowadays there is no disciplin so There is no respect, Bring back The cane and the unruly will think twice, This Country Has gone to the dogs Because of political correctness, its time we reviewed the situation, and put children in there Place, seen But Not Heard.

After 7 years in the classroom I have now been unemployed for few months. It has given me some perspective and now I'm not sure if I want to go back to teaching gain. The kids are monsters, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!

There does seem to be a dumbing down of the masses. Not sure who or what is to blame for it exactly though. Seems to be a conglomeration of everything. Government, school system itself, parents, media, business...all seem to be a part. I notice that schools here in Canada seem to have forgotten all about spelling and grammar. Even the teachers make regular and simple mistakes. There is too much emphasis to learn higher end Mathematics and not enough on basic language abilities.
