Mariinsky Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev/Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5

Valery Gergiev conducts the Mariinsky Orchestra, (formerly known as the Kirov Orchestra) in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 in January 2010 at the Salle Pleyel, Paris. Gergiev and the Orchestra will perform all six Tchaikovsky symphonies in three performances during their residency at Cal Performances, October 14-16, 2011, at Zellerbach Hall on the UC Berkeley campus.
