Very interesting. How much do you plan out before you start and how do you do this? I find myself moving from Illustrator to a notepad and pen throughout the process until I've finally settled on a design. I'd love to know how you came up with the design you finally used. Thanks

My drafts are very rudimentary. I generall like to work on the "final" version as soon as possible. Almost all elements are grouped and have layer stying so I can make some sweeping design changes near the end if needed with a few clicks.

Interesting work there Jess. Curious though... its hard to tell how you're measuring the sizes of the elements you're creating to ensure the scalar proportions are correct. How are you doing that?

@03stories After determining a metric, i.e 1 pixel width = $1M, I then stroked a line with the corresponding size brush. A $34M item would have a 34px width line.
