Clemenceau is honored in France? He, LLoyd George and Wilson were directly responsible for the rise of Nazism after WWI through their insane revenge policies against Germany.

--Et Clemenceau le cochon!" Why? Because he not only turned down the secret peace proposals of the Austrian Emperor Karl, he made them public, and thus he preferred to see more millions of French, Germans, British, italians, Russians, and Austrians die for his greedy ambitions of seizing portions of the German Empire and imposing a terrible treaty upon the German People that helped lead to the Nazi reaction. Foch was a hero, and les poilus were heroes, but Clemenceau was a bloody pig. Ptouh!

Clemenceau was probably the most remarkable statesman of the French Third Republic. A doctor, a journalist, a statesman, Le Pere La Victoire was all in all a great man. Churchill borrowed some of his speeches and quotes, for the record.
