4. Buy Tpad Credit. Use Cash, Credit Card, Moneybookers, PayPal or Google Checkout etc. Make low cost calls to normal phones and mobiles worldwide.
5. Make FREE Calls to other Tpad users worldwide providing you are in credit by more than $5. Receive calls on your Tpad number and forward to your mobile or landline at low rates.

You need one of these devices to use Tpad:

Tpad can be used with any VoIP / SIP phone device that is set-up with your personal settings (Tpad Number and Password) and Tpad SIP server settings (sip.tpad.com). Here are the common types of devices you can use.

PC Softphone + Headset
A softphone is a free program for your PC that acts like a phone. You need a good headset and microphone to use it. All SIP softphones will work with Tpad. This is the most common way Tpad is used.

IP Phone
This is an actual phone but connects directly to your Internet port on your Broadband Router instead of a Telephone Line. Your PC does not need to be on. Many versions including IP DECT phones are available.

ATA Adapter
There are small adaptors into which you can plug-in you existing normal desk phone or normal DECT phone. The other end of the ATA adaptor plugs directly to the Internet via your broadband ADSL router. It basically converts your normal phone into an IP phone.

Mobile Phone - e.g. Nokia
Mobile phones may use WiFi and connect to your Internet or they may use the Data Network (like 3G) and thus do not need your Internet connection. Call quality is not as good as IP or softphones.
- SIP mobile phones allow you to easily configure the settings to use with Tpad.
- Other phones may need to download a special application to work with SIP or Tpad.
