For high quality playback of any video you upload to YouTube, simply upload the least compressed file you have. It will most likely be a large .avi file. Enjoy!

Could you burn a disc from that editing software?

The actual "editing" function of the software is limited. You can only change the beginning frame and end frame of the video.
A lot of cool other functions are provided though, like the ability to make a "movie mix" automatically from videos you've shot.
Remember the video you shoot is stored as an .avi file so you can always edit it using other popular software, but the functionality provided by the Flip itself is cool as it is.

Yes! The best quality about the Flip series of cameras is that they are so small you always have it with you. I uploaded this video using the software provided with the camera. It is only "good" quality. I could have uploaded the original, uncompressed .avi file which looks much better than the one you see here. I take my Flip everywhere and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to record those little special moments.

so if i uploaded it onto anything other than youtube, would it look like the standard version or the high definition? By this i mean does it look good on everything other than youtube?

The Flip camcorders save files as 640x480 .avi files. These files are stored in a folder in the camcorder and can be viewed or uploaded. They look great. If you use the software that's built into the Flip to upload to YouTube or other websites it will convert the files to smaller .wmv files that aren't as detailed but are much, much smaller and therefor upload faster.
If you upload the large .avi file to YouTube you will be presented with the option to see the video "in high quality".
