I can understand some aspects of this video but deforestation in the U.S. for paper is pretty much a myth. These companies own huge lots of land that they grow trees specifically for paper and the way they cycle their cuts is actually good for wildlife. Wildlife can't thrive in virgin forest very well due to the lack of sunlight getting to the ground to allow small plants to grow and therefor limits the food supply. I'm sure there is some bad deforestation going on but virtually none in the U.S.
is anyone in the production of this video aware the over 90% (close to 100% but not sure on the exact number right now) of the trees used for paper was grown to be used for paper? at least in the U.S.
don't get me wrong though. pollution is bad and waste is always bad even if there isn't a longterm negative to it. It's a matter of ethics.
