Well, here's another by Perry when he sang with The Ted Weems Band. This was cut for Decca Records during 1939. Perry was with Ted from 1936, until 1942. Weems broke up the band to join the Merchant Marine. Many band leaders did the same during the war. Artie Shaw and Glenn Miller were a couple of more who went into the service. Perry thought he might have to go back to being a barber, but as it turned out, he stuck with singing, and ain't we the lucky ones. I remember this song and "I wonder who's kissing her now", being played on juke boxes in bars during the 60's & 70's.
For a short time Ted Weems was the house orchestra on the Fibber McGee & Molly show with Perry Como ad featured singer. Years before Como became a star on his own.

mi school iz holdin a musical calld Vaudville Baby our teachr made it up. but. she pulld a bunch of old favz 2gethr 2 make it wrk i got the part of a snooty booty headlinr who gets wht she wants and wen she finds out tht the cos goin out of business she moves on 2 starrin in filmz where she soon misses her old friendz @ da theatre...so she sings this song.
