  • Hey Gary I did my maiden last weekend on my f-16. After we got the cg right it flew great..only getting about three minutes flight time from a 4000 ma. How much flight time do u get? Also did not need flaps plane lands perfect with elevator in high rates.

  • @KJSTAN93 ok, where is your video?? i don't know how much flight time i get, i had not that much luck yet do do great flyings with my v3, there was always something wrong so i had to shorten the flights.

whats the total weight of your f16?

  • lol...will do my best ill send you the video of the maiden...would like to see how you did the duck work for my next f-16 best jet on the planet (getting the epoxy ready!! Lol..)

  • @acere1478 seen the vid on your buddies channel. well done, i left a comment ;)

  • hey gary thanks for the advice..my set up is 6s 4000 40c battery 85amp esc 72mm edf i had r/c lander install everything..just not sure on how much elevator for landings dont whant to stuff it the ground first time out..landings look tricky any tips will be very helpfull.also radio system is a spectrum dx6i mixes are limited but i can do some..going to maiden this weekend will see what happens.

  • @acere1478 hey acere, well, this f16 is indeed not easy to land :) i recommend to save up some epoxy for after maiden repairs :) jokes aside now, well, the most important thing is you cannot land this jet without throttle, you need some to bring it to the runway and flare it out. in my crash compilation video, crash nr2 was because of loose elev servos, had to trim up and up while flying and when approaching with slow speed it didnt want to sink so it dropped like a stone :)

  • I have to get back to you on the weight...its pretty heavy compared to my other edfs. The video was taken by cell phone so the quality is not good. The next time I fly it ill take my good camera.

  • where can i get a belt cp v2 ?

  • @acere1478 well, it depends on your complete setup, you can build this f16 kinda light ~1650g but you can also go the heavy way i go ~2300g. with that weight you need flaperons when there is no wind, otherwise your landing approaches would need to be really fast to not drop like a brick. the elevators have to be alittle applied in neutral position to get a straight level flight. have a look in the rcgroups foamy section, there is a build thread. good luck and thx for commenting!

  • nice vid..just put my f-16 together wow what a project.I seen all your videos and you fly the f-16 very well..just need some help on the setings do i use flaperons?and what is the elevator setting instuctions stink if you know what i mean. thanks and keep the videos coming.
