  • These old banjos have a great characteristic: they sound like 100dB with hardly any picking effort. Sounds a lot like Earl's banjo as far as power and tone.

  • Does it have a flathead tone ring or the round one? Amazing sound if it is the round tone ring. I wouldn't cut that rim at all for a flathead ring.
