I find Solidworks more easy to learn than inventor. May be the main reason is that Solidworks gives the oportunity to have easily available tutorials in the Market. Solidworks also gives the oportunity to work with many CAM sofwares within its environment such as Solidcam, featurecam etc. whereas, Inventor doesn't offer such option. Nevertheless, I always admire to Autodesk Inventor for designing as 3d Max gives good support to Inventor for designing.

@happygamestvfun1 Autodesk is good for design. solidworks is good for being easy to use and quick, basically solidworks is good for manufacturing. ProE is good, but autodesk is the best in my opinion, hence it was the first AUTOCAD.
