Also, the most effective test is an offset frontal test. Full frontal means that the engine takes the hit. If you hit that tree offset I doubt the passenger compartment would be in as good shape

The world isn't perfect. Once in a while someone is going to hit a tree. Probably speeding or not paying attention. It doesn't mean we go and put safety barriers around every tree.

Well how can that many Brits be dying on British roads? Brit cars normally can't go more than 40 mph or 40 miles between break-downs, so most Brits have to walk wherever they're going. I'm thinking the road conditions hardly matter. Of course, they may injure themselves while pushing their cars down the road to the nearest mechanic shop, I'll grant you that possibility. I'm guessing that's why the Queen still prefers horse drawn carriages, right?
