Super Mario Galaxy 1-up Shroom Shortcut Glitch

I found out this glitch a long time ago. When you fall off the first stair (where the first one meets the second one) on the Comet Observatory, spin when you are below the observatory towards it and fall down. If the glitch succeeds, a bubble will bring you back up to the observatory and you will go through platforms and collect the 1-up Shroom on the way to where you fell off.

You can do the same thing with the 1 Up under the Gateway Galaxy.

In an easy way, when your dangling from the edge, try to go left and the get the 1 - up.
