In the second part of the interview Michael Melendrez is starting to share his insights in how to re-mediate salty and clay dirt, and how to transform it into fertile soil. Cornerstone of this process is the genesis of humus in the soil. Also Michael explains the difference between humus, and carbon storage such as terra prieta or compost.

  • @zoelandomag lol cut a bunch of branches and pile them with some leaves....then wait a million years : )

  • So where did you get the humus? or how did you cause it to develop?

  • these are the best videos ever!

  • ya my grass grows back twice as fast and twice as thick after I had a fire in the backyard. I thought the fire's ashes helped it.

  • Where do you obtain humus to put into heavy clay soil?

  • Where did you get the Humus for the original aplication?

  • thanks! that's more information about humus, and things to look further into, than i've read anywhere thus far.

  • Ashes are a carbon.I've been spreading my burned up charcoal and it seems to help the yard.
