This is a section from the 2007 Penn Hills Senior Video. I made the video. This is my favorite part of it and also the hardest (or rather, longest) part to make.
In the Photo Void, there are 287 pictures all individually placed and animated in 3D space. Yeah, that many. That was all the photos given to me to be used in the senior video.
The music used is the "Singing in the Rain" remix by Mint Royale. This video also shows off the third generation Lenscap Productions logo. So far, this is the only video new enough to use this logo.
In concept, the void was entered through a bulletin board. The picture the camera would be zooming on was to suddenly fly backwards into the void instead of stay in place and let us start another slideshow. After we were in the void, the camera was to look about and see other pictures fly out from holes in the void that lead to the school. The pictures would all be floating about and passing the camera as we explored the void. Then, halfway through, all the pictures stopped and reversed direction, flying into the center of the void where they would slowly form a large PH. As you all know, the PH then explodes and sends us right back to the picture we started our journey with, the front of the school.
Unfortunately, due to time constrains, I could not give the Photo Void all that I wanted and dreamed for it. This piece is the result and it was a lot of work to get this way, though it would have taken a great deal more work to get it the way I wanted it.
