Do you recall an incident when a West German pilot flew a plane over the cold war front and landed in RED SQUARE. Sometimes the High Tech is not good against Low Tech.

NORAD and FAA Stand Down, which have state of the art Ground Radar Systems since the Cold War with Soviet Union!
If they can not scramble fighter jet aircrafts to shoot down those Jumbo Jets down, USA always have FIM-92 Stinger, MIM-23 I-Hawk, MIM-104 Patriot to shoot down any Air Threats!
