Here is the song Stroll On by The Yardbirds. It was recorded in 1966 and it was used in the movie, Blow Up. They were originally going use Train Kept A Rollin in the movie but for copyright purposses they couldn't. So Keith changed up the lyrics the night before they recored this song.

Line up:
Keith Relf- Lead Vocals
Jeff Beck- Lead Guitar
Jimmy Page- Lead Guitar
Chris Dreja- Bass
Jim McCarty Drums

If you notice my videos, there is a pattern. I make sure to get the correct band line up photos for the song they played on. Since this song had Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page playing guitar in it, all photos came from the Page/Beck era of The Yardbirds. I seen some Yardbirds videos on youtube where it would be a Page era song and some how there is a picture of Clapton in the 1980's in it. I like to show the correct line up in all of my videos.

I'm glad you liked it. Stroll On was the very first song I ever heard by The Yardbirds. I always go to great distance to find rare photos of the line-up that did the song featured in my videos.

Blow Up aired two nighhts ago on cable. It is indeed Beck with a great collection of VOX amps. Page is in the scene also, on the opposite side of the stage from Beck. Classic!

Actually, it was Beck's amp making the noises, and Beck's guitar that gets smashed. While the whole thing was indeed scripted and staged, Beck does a very convincing job of becoming frustrated with his equipment and smashing it in the middle of a performance. I've never seen the whole movie, only the Yardbirds scene!

I saw Blow Up when it came to my town in 1967. I had to use a fake ID to get in the theater cause it was 18 & over to see it. In one scene of the band playing Pages' amp starts making noises. Page ends up sticking his guitar through the speaker. It was mind blowing. Watch the movie.
