  • Great stuff! That's very difficult! Not to mention a great groove. I especially like the foot shaker.

    Are metal drums tabla? Playing them with sticks? It kinda hurts to see that...

  • The metal drums, from India, are called Naqqara and are played with sticks, used for accompanying the Shennai and often heard in Indian temples. They work very well for African floor set-ups like this.

  • nataraj, nata = dance; raja = king -- king of dance.  i also play indian music.
