Good to see so many of these cars are still around. A truly momentous period in car racing!

I hate rules....that's why I loved Can-Am. The most awesome racing cars to date(In my humble opinion).I say run what you brung....but let the DRIVERS set the parameters.Any engine, any displacement, any aspiration.....Can-Am was the greatest road racing experience of my life....Laguna Seca was my home track.

Bring back the two seat CanAm, fully bodywork and limit it to <800 cubic inch naturally aspirated V-8s in 100 mile sprint races. Thanks for bringing back a few memories.

Could someone upload the Grand National race?
Thanks for posting this! I used to watch these cars at Mid-Ohio back in the late 60s early 70s. The UOP Shadow was always my favorite.

I have footage of the Shadow and other Can-Am cars in action on the track, but problems getting my video camera and computer to communicate have prevented me from uploading. Once I get them back on speaking terms I should be able to post more.
