B-17 Flying Fortress aircraft takeoff and landing from The Wings of Freedom Tour 2008 at Chicago Executive Airport (formerly Palwaukee Airport).
The Collings Foundation's Wings of Freedom Tour of the WWII Vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator, North American B-25 Mitchell, and the TX TP -51C Betty Jane was in Chicago at Chicago Executive Airport from July 18 to July 21.
Video shows takeoff and landing of the B-17 Flying Fortress on Sunday July 20, 2008 at about 5:30 p.m.
The plane is similar to the the B-17 bomber that was featured in the movie Memphis Belle.

I live just south of the main runway. I love it when this B-17 makes its visit every year.
