My brothers sun conures lay eggs.....what seems like all the time and they are both girls from what I hear. I don't understand....please help.:-/

@MasterJoker202 to help the bird cope with your time away, you can put large mirror close to the cage, windows, sunlight, they should be fine. If you don't mind the electricity bill, leave on the classical music radio station.

@crispyunicorn and dont get a bird PERIOD if all you do is lock it up in its cage. Let it roam free.

im sooo excited cuz im getting a sun soon!! i know they can b loud but i dont live in an apartment so ill be fine. is it ok just to have one?

@MasterJoker202 To be painfully honest, if I'd known about the beak grinding, and just how loud and grating the sound can be, I would not have gotten a conure. But I've bought a white noise machine since then which has allowed me to keep my sanity AND my beloved green-cheek. :) DO get a conure if you think you can devote at least a few hours to it every single day. DON'T get a conure if you don't like cleaning up messes, spending extra money on food, or are sensitive to unpleasant sounds. ;)
