As a licensed esthetician I can tell you that thinking of facials as (just) a relaxing luxury is old school. Clients/patients want results more than ever and it beats spending $100 or more to see no visible results and only being able to say "I feel relaxed". Also guys she's doing this tut for informational purposes only not for the glitz and glam, i'm sure she could, as I do, combine relaxing music, aromatherapy, and facial massage to the treatment in a normal setting.

I think it is up to the client what type of facial they are looking for. One with more results.....or more of a feel good relaxing one. It is nice to having choices ....

The esthetician is not making the client eat her jewelry so what is the point. You think your face, hands are steril? I still vote for a face mask for stuff that sprays or stuff that can splash , squirk back at you.
