Seems like you know the car very well. I drive an 02, so they are similar even as s2000s go. I've only done one track day at Buttonwillow, and some skidpad practice, but I would love to get you as an instructor some day! I especially want to learn how to countersteer well, which is hard with the s2ks variable power steering : (

hey there, I am instructing a beginner full track drift group at ThunderHill Raceway on Dec. 20th. Let me know if you would like to join, otherwise, Im sure we could work somthing out sometime. And the pwer steering system on the S2K is not as bad as people make it out to be, regarding countersteering.

Thank you. I am actually not a drift instructor but a formula car road racing instructor. I have been racing and working in the racing industry for 8 years, it just takes dedication. The S2k is the 2.0 liter, year 2003.

If you know a thing or two about racing, cars, and all the associated factors, NASCAR is alot more than it seems.. theres more going on than cars going in a circle. too much to explain in a youtube comment.

And watching cars go in a one-direction oval isn't? Drifting is requires more skill and control than racing alone. You can't just slam the throttle through every corner, you gotta be patient, yet quick. The drifts have to flow, and it takes alot of skill to do that. So before you go saying its the dumbest thing on Earth, think about where else forms of drifting is used, like rally. And to counter your comment, I think NASCAR is THE most boring racing sport I've ever seen.
