The view of Endeavour and STS-130 heading to orbit from our front yard. Great view of Endeavour and the crescent moon.

  • this is something i want to see in my lifetime...what is kennedy space center? also do they ever launch in california?

  • Kennedy Space Center is where they launch from here in Florida. The do launch rockets from California but not the shuttle. There are only 4 more launches of the Shuttle left now. Last one is scheduled for 16 Sep 2010.

  • We are about 124 miles from Kennedy Space Center - unfortunately no sound gets this far. Still looked great climbing over the crescent moon.
