  • Do you have them dumped or turndowned after the muffler? Do you have headers? What is the whole setup?

  • They are all the way back after the axel to the rear quarter panels. Long tube Hooker hedders. 2 1/2 mandrell bent tubbing with two flowmaster original 40's

  • Original 40's

  • how much compression?

  • The compression is 10:1

  • What is the muffler series??...I am looking to put flowmasters on my car...I have a small block 350...That sounded nice...

  • They are Flowmaster Original 40's

  • @Joy8EG Hey, same cam I have. 274 Ho6. Got it in a Slilverado short bed w/195 Topline Perf heads bowl blended, gasket matched to heads, intake unmolested. Holley Street Dominator 1" spacer,750 Holley Vac sec. 1.6 rockers on intake as advised by Vizzard Racing engines. 3.73 w/ welded spiders, built turbo 350 with "hard" shift kit and drag radials. Got a 3000 stall converter, long tube hookers. Baby pulls like 3 red mules gett'n down on an oak tree stump. Makes more on dyno than comp 268 or 270.

  • Ok boys and girls I have a set of flows 40's . Frankly they sucked. To much back pressure. now hold on before you all throw stones this set up I have is for a race car. now trust me this works. I cut open the muffler's and removed the V-plate inside welded back up with 14 gauge mild steel. no back pressure and not loud at idle or cruise but drop the hammer and such a nice roar. There is so much reduction in back pressure that I no longer need collector gaskets on my headers.

  • what size cam

  • Use a crane energizer 274 cam.
