Nice pickups dudes! Oh snap! You fuggers go to Ashville NC to check sales sometimes? My parents live there so next time I visit them I'll have to hit yall up. I don't much like Ashville either. My step dad's family are a bunch of hill billies. When I visit I'm afraid to go for walks in the woods... I might here someone strumbing a banjo and see a dude with bad teeth... LOL

Nice pick-up with "CHUD" in the slipcase. Very underrated genre-classic.
Heard great things about "Grey Gardens". It's on many Top 10 lists on the Criterion site.
"Down by Law" is among my favorite Jarmusch-films. If Criterion releases it on Blu-Ray some day, I might pick it up, also because of the extras.
"Paris, Texas" - YES! Bst road movie ever, sir.

@Caitlin0120 Yeah, I thought about holding out for a possible bluray, but I had read so many good things about it, I had to go ahead and pick it up. I'm sure it upscales nicely. That's good to know about the special features, I love it when they go in depth on the technical aspects of the film (camera and lenses). It's near the top of my stack! --KJ

Watching these videos makes me yearn to spend my hard earned cash on Criterion discs. Given my current financial state I am happy I was able to contain my urges. Next year I will partake.
