HP Slate 500: First Look

The HP Slate 500 is a tablet that was leaked earlier this week straight from HP's official website. The tablet is supposedly going to be a 8.9 inch tablet running Windows 7 Home Premium with a 1.6 ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, 2 cameras, and a stylus.

Comparing the HP Slate vs. Apple iPad, the HP Slate is 9.7 inches vs. the iPad's 8.9 inches. It has a 1.6ghz processor vs. Apple's A4 chip in the iPad which is clocked at 1.0ghz. It also has 1 GB of RAM vs. the iPad's 256MB of RAM, plus two cameras vs. the iPad's non-existant cameras.

You kan say either are bettter for a number of reasons,butt jus dependn on what you neeed to do  there greatt!! Windows allows you to actually download real programs, where the i pad doesnt,its more aboutt appps. If you kno whatt your doing you kan actually gett windows on to uour ipad n its basically a pc,so you kan hav both! I prefer the slate hass way more capabilities,plug ins,usbs,sd card n more

ipad is a overhyped toy , slate has a stylus pen interface witch makes it an instrument for serious note taking.
