Ohio speller Nicholas Rushlow of Pickerington made it to the semi-finals of the 2011 Scripps National Spelling Bee. To get there, he correctly spelled teh word "clairsentience" in the first oral round of competition. Video taken by Sabrina Eaton of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

  • Go Nicholas Rushlow! I hope you win nationals next year. You really touched me this year, and tears came out of my eyes when you misspelled caffeol. You are such a great spelling bee role model to me!
