Remember, there are probably at least 2 or more colors that match you, so you'll definitely find something that works!
BTW: I'm a MAC NC20, or Light for powder, to give you a perspective as I discuss the following colors:

Olive Fair
Light Olive
Olive Medium
Fairly Light
Fairly Light Neutral
Fair Medium
Light Neutral
Sunkissed Fair
Golden Medium
Buttered Tan
Winged Butter

  • Whats the difference between olive light and golden medium? I've tried golden medium tho. And i want to get a full size now, so I'm in a dilemma.

  • For my skin tone, golden medium is a bit dark, but olive light is a little too light for the summertime. If golden medium works for you, then go for it. Sometimes though, I actually like to mix colors because it is really tricky to find a shade that matches perfectly....

  • how do u get the chart? I recently got my package but I did not get a color chart and I told them too give me one. My order came three weeks later and I live close to Texas. They made me so mad when I got my package. They forgot my free sample kit and told me that the angled blush brush was out of stock and wen I ordered it they had some but it took them forever to ship my package.

  • I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. You could call to complain, or I think the forums have a section where you can discuss your experience. As for the chart, you don't really need it because the colors are not accurate or complete. I mere used for demonstration purposes for the video, but I would trust the colors on the web site more. Good luck!

  • I don't know how you did it....but you managed to drag this out for almost 10 minutes.

  • I would not want to walk around on a Saturday with 2 different shades on each side of my face like a yin and yang sign. Also, buff is too brownish for asian skin and tends to make the skin look "muddy".

  • very helpful video,honey ! :)

  • Can you compare Buttered Tan with Golden Medium? I have a sample of golden medium but I find that is a tad light on me and I think it's a bit too green/yellow. What undertones does the Buttered Tan one has (pink/yellow/brown, stuff like that)? I'm planning on ordering a super kit soon and wanted to put buttered tan for the foundation but wanted to have second opinions on the color. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the tip. I'm also a MAC20 and I tried Olive Light in Intensive. I was surprised it was pretty dark and yellowish. But some say intensive formula tends to be a shade darker. So I'll probably try Olive Fair. :)
