Not wanting to be a smart ass, but as these are two stroke engines the cranks would need to be phased 90 different to each other to get maximum smoothness, dont' think they bothered. General Motors also made a 4 engine version driving a common shaft, there were two engines mounted facing rearwards, spaced slightly apart with the PTO shaft running between them. Each engine could be clutched out seperately if needed. I've only ever seen photos of these. Beautiful restoration.
and the detroit diesel was born... well... not actually but you can see how there similer. haha. beautiful engine and sound.
